Voting for Screenshot of the Week: 12/4 to 12/11

Voting closed. The results are in the original post.

I have made the entrants' usernames in the 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-place listings direct links to those entrants' submissions, since JimDep stated recently about how the winning screenshots being posted when voting was closed in the past. How's this work?

Regards,

Retro.

Thanks Retro, and thank you all for the votes. That’s one of my favorite views from my “way too many pine trees route” I was working on. Lately I’ve just been having fun swapping out skies and playing with the time of day lighting to see what effects I can get. There is just so much great content out there I’m discovering all the time. Thanks to all the content creators, and to all of you who participated with your wonderful screenshots!

"Way too many pine trees route" - LOL. Your post reminded me of when I believe the local news called North Carolina one time: "North Carolina, land of the pines" (or something like that). LOL. We certainly have a lot of pine trees here in North Carolina.

Retro.

Retro,
I went through the Carolinas last summer. ‘ Very beautiful part of the country and yes I did notice the pines! The Northwest Montana area I’m trying to represent has mostly fir and spruce with some pine. It’s easier to just say pines rather than conifers or evergreens. That being said, my title is more about the fact that my route is starting to get a little bogged down by the number of trees I have in some places.
