Train-a-Mania
When you think of a coal hauler, your first thought is likely of some six-axle units hauling huge cuts of hoppers across hundreds of miles. A twenty mile shortline using four-axle switchers is a bit of a stretch, but that’s how it was done on the LEFC. Can an obscure shortline primarily hauling coal be worth taking up a room? It’s time to find out…what makes this layout great?

In answer to whether it be Class 1 or Short-line, beauty is in the EYE of the beholder.

This particular, exceptionally well done......There is enough depth and perception to make it work......My first layout in HO was on a 4x8, as young kid, that was all I could afford. But it worked, and I was darn proud of it......My Parents had Lionel O-Gauge, took too much room, was cool to watch, but for me, HO and N Gauge paid off in spades, and 50 years later, came Trainz.;)

Below is Wiki for said Shortline....
