version 4?

Hi! These three assets by norfolksouthern37 appear to be built in to T:ANE and TS2019, but the Quahog sessions are calling for version 4? The version 3 assets are not showing as obsolete, nor does version 4 show if I click "List Asset Versions". Anyone know?

The asset 4 version may be in a DLC package. Try delete missing assets as this may rebuild the kuid table in the route/session.

Thanks Stagecoach. I will try that. It seems odd they would update built-in assets and them make them DLC though....

Some assets have been upgraded for some DLC routes to work better in newer versions of trainz. I have opened a DLC route and found assets updated on other routes because they got installed with it. Delete the route does not delete the assets that came with it, you have to delete the package. This leaves other routes still looking for the DLC asset version.
The route deletes missing assets on the route and kuid table or else they would remain in the kuid table as missing in CM.

Thanks stagecoach. These are basically just three tank cars (called "Tank Train"). It just seems odd that they would update them and then make them payware just because they were used in a payware route. I think that must just be an "oops" somewhere...

That was something N3V was supposed to be fixing wasn't it?

I would report that to the helpdesk and see what they have to say.

Thanks John. Ticket submitted. I was able to revert the KUID lists to version 3, but I haven't tested the sessions yet. Still working on other missing assets.
