Valley River Railroad

This is my "Valley River Railroad" which I have been working on for the past three months. It is 30 boards tall by 3 boards wide and the route is similar to the White River rail line in the Arkansas Ozarks (hence the Missouri & Nothern Arkansas locos in some of the screenies). The main line follows a fictional river (Valley River) through rolling hills. Industries are coal, logging, and containers. There is also a passenger scenic excursion train that runs the route.

I used Photoshop to create the land forms (hills, valleys, & rivers).

I must say that topology is fantastic!
Once I get Photoshop I must learn how to create such realistic terrain!:D :)

Cheers,

Sweet looking route Dave - a lot of it reminds me of my East Kentucky......

I am curious about the tower view. Is that an existing tower and if so is it function, another words can you "sit down" at the control panel and set the switches in the yard from there. If so, where do I find it and how do I layout the control panel and link it to the yard switches? If not when is it going to be available on the DLS? Thanks,
=gerry=

Nice to see your using Frank's locomotives. Awesome route, keep the screenies coming!

Best regards,
Mike

^ I made the Pacer StackTrain containers (re-skinned), then cloned and re-worked an industry to produce mostly Pacer StackTrain containers.

^The tower view is just a tracking camera view---I placed the camera "in" the tower.
