He's a real character. I've known him since we were on the same spy ship during the Vietnam war back in 1964. The four of us have taken a few cruises down to the Caribbean also since he's a travel agent.

Great shots Mike, looks exactly how it was when we rode it!

Davis
Thanks! Yup the train is essentially in the same order as it was when we rode it with the exception of 97 being the head rather then 40. After awhile I have picked up the usual order of the train cars. Thomas will be there this weekend and next...(yay?:hehe:) It will be a very busy weekend this weekend tons of thomas excursions as well as a charter being pulled by 97 from Goodspeed to Deep River. Not sure if the thomas train will be headed by 40 or a diesel or not. I am thinking a diesel but could be proven wrong.

Are the Valley Railroad is doing operational restoration work on Valley Railroads new locomotive 3025 as well the 0-6-0 porter locomotive number 2 & even Valley RRs first locomotive 103? :o :) :D

Yes the Valley Railroad is doing restoration work on 3025. It is moving, but only as fast as the work force and us volunteers can go with the resources available. the Porter 0-6-0 is owned by the FVRR organization and is being restored as far is visual, but nothing is stopping it from becoming operational. Locomotive 103 is actually no longer on the Valley Railroad, it was sold to the Naugatauck RR sometime ago and was just being "stored" on the Valley. As of last year almost to the date 103 was taken and moved to the Naugatauck, as of right now I have no clue as to what is happening to it there.
Also I love this railroad and I like your route of the Valley Railroad. Keep up the good work.
Thanks I strive to keep it as real as possible with what I have..To bad it is not a DEM but I am not going to complain since it looks good regardless.

Awsome. Did you make the the Steam Engine models of #40 & #97. Plus did you know that im a member of the Trainz Commuter Form as well.

I did not model 40 and 97. They are simply reskins so some details may look a bit off to the trained eye.
Anyway last Wednesday 40 and 97 were putting on the sister act:

And last but not least me on top of the porter getting ready to put one of the decorative steam dome covers back on.

So what's this J-1 Mikado 3025? I haven't heard anything lately, but then again, Steamlocomotive.info never tells me anything. they only care about the engines in britain. the US stuff never gets updated at all...:( :(
