USB Stick Question

Hi all,

I had a question regarding USB sticks. I am getting my new computer soon, and I was wondering if I could put my purchased payware on it so I could transfer it to my new computer. Can this be done?

I guess if you are not giving away the stuff to others it should be ok, i don't see why not.

Edit: And if you mean "can it be pulled from CMP and moved", yes that is possible too

Yes, it is just for me; I wouldn't dare give out my files.

In CM highlight and save a route, or assets, using the drop down list "Save As CDP", and transfer those CDP files

If you're talking installing the program files, just be sure your jump drive is big enough for the them. If you downloaded Trainz 2012 and kept the download package, that requires 6-7 Gb so you would need at least an 8 Gb drive.

:B~)

I highly recommend not dumping "Program Files, Program Files (x86)" onto a keyfob because some software relies on registry keys, and it will not function correctly without those registry keys.
More or less, as painful as it is to do, a fresh install of software works the best.
Oh, and get rid of everything (insert retailer you're buying from here) installs on that computer, including free anti-virus. It's all crap and worthless.
