That shot gave me an inner ear in-balance or something. Thanks for the vertigo...![]()
Well, Red, I do plan on the 100 mile Bluefield to Williamson mainline as well all of the 20 or so branchlines that run off of the main going up to the mines. If possible I'd like to do the Clinch Valley line from Bluefield to Norton but that is another 100 miles and might be pushing it. This route has been in the works since 2004 when fishlipsatwork created the massive DEM for me. At that time, either Trainz or computers or both couldn't handle a route this big with the detail I wanted so the project was shelved. About two or three month ago I dusted it off and got going on it again and decided to start over as I have much more info about the Pokey than I did before. I've only put scenery in on a small area so far as a test. Most work right now is on mainline track, signals, and terrain adjustments. Branchline track crews are taking a break as the N&W Historical Society is bringing out a series of books on the branches of the Pokey. Once I get those I'll continue on with the branches. Thanks to all for the kind comments on my work, I guess my test scenery is up to par so I think I'll start getting some more areas to a finished state. I'm always open to suggestions, so feel free.
Thanks, Bernie
