not up to me, they are are reskins of the Jointed Rail F40s. If they want to have it available I'll happily send it to them (it would probably end up being payware).

It didn't seem to make much difference. The model creators who get mad at people for reskining stuff didn't care & would shout at me, and the gimmie pigs would just ignore it & ask anyways.

This is just something I threw together with some JVC splines. I really like them, altho I think I overdid it a bit. I do like the look of grass growing up through the rails :hehe:

And for you folks who just have to go say hi to the locomotive while the train crew is not on...

Enjoy!

Thx

I just made them. I'm looking into passenger cars.

peter

The passenger cars are ex CN Hawker Siddley cars that I believe were based on a subway car body. I saw some for MSTS, so that may give you an idea how to mod something here that would work.

P.S. nice job on the F40s, I was looking at those last week and thinking the same thing.....

Based off my research you are mostly correct, except that they are the Ex-CN Budd Tempo Cars (still based off from a subway design). SKTX did own some standard Budd/Pullman Streamlined cars which I'm making up into the appropriate colors for now. If anyone knows where I could get some drawings of the Tempo Cars, let me know.

Ah! I stand corrected. You are correct.

Eaglefan, what you do, is in Surveyor, you click the 'Paintbrush' button, or F2 (I think) which will open the textures menu. Then, at the bottom, there will be a almost fork-like button, and you click that and then, with the button selected, click on the texture, still in surveyor. That should make the texture list, with all the squares with samples of the textures, jump to the texture, and it'll have a white box around it

Actually, the reason I came here was to ask a question. I'm modelling a '50's layout set on the East Coast. And I am wondering what would have been running around?? NYC area mostly, but what would have run passenger trains?? And other freight lines?? As it is purely freelance, it could be anywhere
