Hoot Creek Pusher District

The Hoot Creek Pusher District spans from mile marker 30 to 71.5 at Stewartville. The crews shove loaded through trains, locals and others as needed. Serving some of the harder grades along the Volunteer it is vital to continuous movement of trains and material.

Is it just my monitor or do some of these otherwise excellent daytime shots look a little 'bleached'? Perhaps the brightness or gamma settings are too high?

The Volunteer line stuff has always been like that. I am not sure why either. (I tend to turn my gamma about a click below default. The darker shade makes it look better to me. But that is because I like storms.)

I'll look into it and make some adjustments to see what I can do. I run the Gamma in the middle. But for screen shots I tend to go for a "shiney" feel and it may not come off as good as I think.
