Welcome to "Pinewood Railroad !

Hi guys,

I thought i could introduce to you my fictionnal "Route" bades on Pinewood Railroad.

At the very start, i saw a movie called "Runaway Train" wich for sure, you know all.

So, my wish was to build a route in American style. In my mind, that railroad would allow big consists filled with multiple industries everywhere on the layout.

Today, Pinewood Railroad is a reality ... on my computer.

So, as in the movie, Pinewood owns its dedicated F 7 A and B units.

3 screenies and there will be more if you like that.

Cheers,

André.

Pinewood Station and the little yard hosting the consist providing the town all the goods its needs.

F 7 A & B units owned by Pinewood Railroad. They are weathered as time left its trace. Old units with (still) good performances.

Another shot to see the F 7 units.

Hello all. It's the early 1960's.. As an Erie F unit whips around the curve at Lovells Pennsylvania heading eastbound. Next stop, Jamestown Ny. The train left Meadville 30 minutes ago as it meets a Pennsy SD9 on the PRR Chautauqua branch above heading south to Oil City Pa. :)

Neat shot, Octls2! I would love to see more.
I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see some "virtual railfanning" of this area. It would make for some interesting meets.
Perhaps something of the video persuasion? ;)

Thanks! Most of the old Erie From Meadville to Olean is operated by the WNY&P (Western New York & Pennsylvania) and Norfolk Southern. It was single tracked by CR in the 80's. Almost completely ripped up in the mid 1990's the line has seen quite a revival under NS/WNYP control. The PRR Chautauqua is mostly gone from Buffalo Ny. to Titusville Pa. I have alot of video of this area but, haven't uploaded it anywhere. Try Searching on You-Tube under Wny&p railroad. that should bring up some good results for the area.

In the meantime... Here's another shot from my PRR Chautauqua Branch Route.
