looking good practice makes perfect, tip work in a small area get some mixtures u look that look good use the copy and paste then go back blend them all together to eliminate repeats. works good for certain area's. i find texturing the toughest part...

Texturing is certainly the most time consuming and more tedious part of trainz.

@Michael_Evans: I can spot no less than six differnet liveries in that one train!
@Hert: Dude, you've got plants growing out of your signals! Just thought I'd point it out...

Ugg, tell me about it! Usually I just finish the route and if I feel like it do some texturing at the more important areas. It seems the more natural textures are harder to replicate, unless you're doing a desert, then it's easy.

You are totally correct, although I must say that I like the plants growing out. I don't think they'd get that high but if you've ever mowed a lawn, it totally makes sense why the plants around an object tend to grow higher than those around it. I'd just drop their height by about 2/3 or so...

Texturing gives me nightmares in trainz as well...

Epoch, is your Wolf City Route available for download?

To all:
It would help if you include the route the picture was designed for (T4, T6, T9, T10) and weather it was available for download and if so, where.
That way when we see such great shots we will know right away if they are a work in progress of a route that can be downloaded.
Thx

I definitely agree, most of my routes are desert. I find the ones that have more of a tundra type environment are the hardest to texture and add floral.

Ya i usually do the texturing last and the screens i have posted are from my route iam building called Intercity Regional Transit or IRT. Iam not really a route builder but more of a scenario and driving/collecting trains. But sense i haven't found really any routes that have met all my needs ive decided to build one. And thanks for the comments guys.
