what's a normal map?
what kind of texture error? i probably missed this because it is normal for it to have an error flag in 06 due to cmp being stupid. oh, null.tga does not have a texture.txt file, this is part of the light. in 09 this should show no errors but in 06 you will always have the error flag, nothing can be done about it.
what steps 'need a fix' what does that mean?
it is normal for only one fan to come on when you are idling the locomotive. the others will activate when you heat it up enough, and of course the larger one will activate once the dynamic brakes are on. contrary to popular belief in the sim and modeling circles where all fans are on all the time, the real thing works this way too.
the mars light should work when you press 1 on the keypad.

WCL. That is a pretty nice scheme. I should be able to do it, but I need you do to me a favor it you can. Would you be able to get me a pic of the logo on the front and the logo on the rear side.
By the way, mine give me an error in 09. I don't care about the error because it doesn't appear to do anything.

yes it appears to be a missing texture.txt file for the null.tga texture. null goes on a really tiny square that the light corona is attached to. you would be lucky to ever see it.

Ah, the late Reading scheme. That is a pretty nice pic, though I am not a huge fan of that particular scheme, though once it gets weathered and darkened it doesn't look that bad. No offense to CincySouthernRwy, but his Reading stuff is a little on the bright side, something that I had to tweak to get right with my stuff. Which reminds me, I have to upload my tweaked GP9M. The one that I have on the DLS isn't dark enough, but I keep forgetting to update it. That and the reskinned lights for the U30C are the only thing that has made it to the DLS so far. My SW1500 reskin and my U30C reskin are still awaiting processing. (Is this normal?)
I do have to agree that your screenshots are getting better.

This one and the one behind it is supposed to have a name but they are the Black Arrow and Black Rock
The Black Valley Dome car
And Last but not the last of the fleet the Black Hills Lounge car. The cars that still need to be done is the Black Feather sleeper, and the Black Canyon Lounge

Just a few more things have to be done to mine. Gotta find the part to make the headlight black and change the handel bar colors and I'll be done with the A unit then I'll go the B unit.

you got the Phase II unit there; although you might want to tweek the colors abit. Check the "b" file for those missing parts.
