USA Pics

I think that I will go with Huntington. Would it be prototypical for 1942 to have a third track with an overhead cat for electric trains, or should I just keep the mainline a 2line affair?

Just a few more from me for tonight. What is it with steam engines and snow that just looks so beautiful.

By the way. I know that I have a NYC engine pulling PRR cars (foreshadowing? lol) but they are the best passenger cars from the era that I can find. Also, did they ever have trains like this?

Check DLS for Author ID #58843 in rolling stock, kuid2:58843:282:2 is a NYC Heavyweight coach. You can also run whitepass' Pullmans, 58422:10113, 58422:10114 and 58422:10112.
Trains like a NYC steamer pulling PRR cars? I've seen pictures of one railroad having a passenger train with 1 car from another railroad mixed in. I think I read about a few rare cases of long haul passenger trains that ran over different railroads mixing cars or just using generic Pullmans. There's also detour trains, if another railroad has a nearby line and it is blocked/out of service, the railroad with the problem line will seek permission to run trains over another railroad.

Jeez, Grogstop....

Tell me what route that is, and I'll pull money out of my pocket for this christmas :P. Love the DH&NYC PA1

Some B&O SD40s spin around the curve at a slow speed at Harpers Ferry, WV with a freighter.

Some B&O SD40s shoot out the tunnel on its way to Chicago at Harpers Ferry, WV. Note I've yet to add the lamps on the bridge.

Back at the station, the Broadway Limited takes a detour through the mountains of West Virginia. Note the Post-War blunt end Observation car

There are a few SD80MACs on the DLS by Splatter that are ok. I tinkered with the config file to change the horn to a more prototypical one and I added a cab to it. Its not too bad actually.

Yeah and some nice SD90's as you can see here

A quick lesson being taught to her young ones about RR safety :hehe: Or maybe doing a lil RR fanning with mom :hehe:

Beautiful shots Jordan. I really love those NS tank cars that you have, they really add to the shots. Especially the one with the track that is sunken into the ground. Keep up the good work.

My first shot at making a route using a HOG...Tell me what you guys think!
