The trestle is on the DLS. I can't remember the name. I'm not sure about the grass. I'll check and get back to you.

What layout is that?

It's my Western Region route. It covers the old SP and WP lines from Stockton to Oakland. (that's in California U.S. for those not familiar with the area) I'm not very far along on it. I only have about 1/3 of the map made. Basicly when I get tired of creating I take a brake and work on this route till I'm ready to get back to creating.

Isn't that west bound WP aproaching tunnel 2, not 1?
If it seems I am picking on you it is only because you are doing what I have always wanted to do but didn't, Stockton to Oakland.
For those also waiting for "Western Region route" allow me to plug my Niles and Hinton on the DLS. It includes a compressed version of Niles Canyon.

Your from that area SuperFudd so if you remember were "The Spot" use to be in the middle of the canyon you keep driving East a short distance and you have a hard left turn that crosses over the train tracks. That tunnel under that curve is tunnel #1. (all 4,321 feet of it) Continue east another half mile and HWY84 crosses the tracks again and Niles Creek. Tunnel #2 is right next to the bridge. The locos in the pic are heading west between tunnel #2 and #1. Here's a shot of the portal for tunnel #1.

I do have track charts for the whole Western Pacific so I'm positive about that being tunnel #1. I'm very familiar with the area also. I've been driving through the area and through that canyon to and from work or for work for the last 26 years.
