Starting to get into reskinning, here's a doubleheader on one of my fictional railroads, Willamette & Southeastern

Very nice job on those old locos. I've experimented on those very ones a few times with mixed results. Also, great sense of movement in the image. Are the curves superelevated?

Thanks, i did not use the base Ben Neal engines to start from the ground up, i used some remastered engines from Sunset Trainz as a base. Also yes, the route is Legacy of The BN II

Southbound intermodals at Pontiac, IL not long after the SLRR-SLSF merger. The former Alton mainline got a good traffic boost out of trailer trains with the enlarged railroad, making for a fast, competitive route from Chicago down into Texas - a very lucrative offering for the company and its new trailer subsidiary. Fresh coats of paint were still a ways off for much of the roster, but to really drive home the fact this merger was more of an acquisition rather than equals becoming one, none of the grey and black Silver Lines Railroad locomotives ever received patches...

Meanwhile, coal empties trudge their way down south towards the mines deep in the heart of West Virginia about a decade prior. The small town of Clay retained its use post-steam era as a staging ground for helper units, though these empties will manage alright without them. The railroad is familiar enough with steep hills tough terrain to be sure, but the 1968 acquisition of the rail lines through the state was a whole new ball game for the midwestern railroad. The companies order of 75 EMD SD40s was pushed up to a full 100 in anticipation of the increased power demands, and it would turn out to be a very wise decision on their part.
