Milwaukee electrics are some of my favorites. For some reason images from i.bb.co seem to take forever to load for me. I don't know if it is a location thing or what, but minutes to load. I will come back and try again later.
EDIT. Finally got them to load. Nice shots. I definitely need to buy that route. I don't think Tume is ever going to make his version available, although I prefer his texturing although it is an old version.

Before-the-Storm.jpg

Chicago Rail Link #18 hustles down Halsted Street with three hoppers for the Chicago Stang Bakery, trying to finish before the coming storm. Brakeman Steve waves hello to the CPD.

Thanks for the likes everyone! i have sent the Highliner to the DLS and it should be downloadable soon.

Very nice! I started making a highliner for Trainz ages ago, but since I don't know how to get it from the 3D software into Trainz (fully functional, I can do static things) it's been sitting in purgatory ever since.

Beginning in 1996, the Sangamon Valley Railroad would begin painting their locomotive fleet of secondhand units into a scheme distinctly reminiscent of the last paint used by the Wabash. The company already operated on Wabash tracks, used Wabash signal equipment, had a single former Wabash locomotive, and even adopted the Wabash logo - why not adopt Wabash paint, too? Though a few details were changed - most notably the starting location of the short-hood stripes, and the name written across the side - the company was happy to make it their standard paint after the initial repaint of ex-Wabash GP35 547, formerly NS and N&W 2918. Paint was low on the pecking order though, so a fresh coat was only given when time and money were both free for such an occasion - a slow process, to be sure. Former Norfolk & Western SD45 1795 was the fourth locomotive in the fleet to gain the blue and gold and certainly the biggest of the bunch. Leading the lone GP11 and one of two ex-PRR SD40s, we find the SD45 leading a typical mixed 101 from Bloomington to Decatur at CP North Osman, later renamed to CP Goembel in 1999.

At the other end of the siding is CP South Osman, later simply CP Osman. The mismatched Conrail and EMD blue on the 6415 isn't quite a match for the Sangamon's choice of blue, itself a little light for an exact match to the original Wabash, but it's close enough that it was deemed pretty far down the list on the repainting order. The railroad also acquired a number of former N&W 4750 hoppers which it promptly swapped the reporting marks of, but did little else. They have become a common sight on the former Wabash and Nickel Plate lines that make up the SVRR.

I still need to replace some of these grass splines... maybe later

Cheers,
