Because he's literally a content pirate, Dave. The dude is a middle aged loser who trades payware for payware with any idiot kid who will talk to him. It's well known. The likelihood that he actually purchased more than 75% of the payware content seen in his screenshots is slim to none.

a good number of people also tend to believe things that are wrong, like, get this, believing JTrane is a good and virtuous consumer of content and not a well-known and well-established pirate.

Jtrane is also the reason why several good routes end up being cancelled because he keeps leaking them to the public. A very good example is when he leaked Flusi737's BNSF Butte Sub. As a result, Flusi who was originally going to release it to the public when he was finished with it, ended up deciding to cancel it because of the leak. And that's not even the only example. I believe he is also the reason why Jointed Rail's old CF7 was never released.
