Yes! Rock Island! Being an RI fan, I’d like to point out that the Rock didn’t really match their locomotive consists. You’d typically see a mixture of locos from all different eras and builders, though it has happened in the past. Great shot!
Thanks DARTrider. To be honest, I have little to no knowledge of prototype operations. I use the game to enjoy tinkering with routes and, basically, just "playing" trains, like an ultimate model railroad, for relaxation.
That version of the RI scheme is one that I really like, plus those wonderfully weathered units from JR.
This version of Emily bay is connected to a version of Whamm0's lovely Oyster Bay layout too.
Cheers,
Piere.
The RI was an interesting railroad, that’s for sure. Arguably my favorite is the Bankruptcy Blue scheme of the late 70’s. It actually stood the test of time and looks very modern today. Just imagine the scheme on modern power…:udrool:
Uhh there is a pair of GP38-2s painted in that BB scheme. Rock Island Rail if i remember right.
Some Cajon action.

This very nice 45 tonner is freeware at Control Point Simulations. Cab is basic, but the model itself is very well done, I'd say. You will have to letter it for your R.R. and *.psd's are there also. Many Thanks CPS!
