1) Idle local power at Duane Yard in Terre Haute, IN
2) Northbound CSX Intermodal destined for Chicago crosses Conrail at HALEY Tower
3) TV 3 westbound towards East St. Louis
Northern New Jersey
4) TV 4 waiting to enter South Kearny, NJ
5) MAIL 8 approaching CP-Marion as TV 4 (in background) finishes putting it's train away

Love that trackage, Felix.. always nice to see other commuter/passenger stuff happening. Great stuff all.
With the Monday morning rush in full swing, LIRR RF-64 builds their train from the protection of the Hicksville north siding as a westbound full of commuters for NYC rockets towards Jamaica. In a moment and still within the protection of the North Side Track, these guys will pop off the runaround to run around their cut, shove to Atlantic Pipe and pick up three cars before running around again to head east. By the time the procession of diesel and electric trains has slowed down, this crew will be ready to head out for the Central Branch, which splits off a few short miles east at Bethpage, and service the multitude of customers there. Tonight, the RF-91 will pick up the MTYs and hand them off cars which will be for the Port Jefferson branch tomorrow.
