I would suggest Profig's trees. They are used on Dermmy's EK3 route and some of Jointed Rail's routes and have given me the best framerates for 'non-billboard trees'.

Where did you get those NP passenger cars, or are they a reskin of some other cars?
I'd say so! They look similar to the various passenger cars scattered throughout some of JR's packs.
EDIT: Closer inspection reveals that these are probably from somewhere else...

And I do too, something magical about, where's the train coming from, you hear it in the fare off distance, it stops at a station in Valley, picks up it's cargo, whether Freight or people and rides off into the night, as it disappears into the mountain scape.
