A Trail Ridge Central train crosses the reservoir on an embankment, with an interesting consist. The boxcar is from a warehouse, and the woodchip car and damaged church bus are from a freight handling company.
And more WIP pictures from the Trail Ridge Central, an old runway turned into an intermodal ramp, which is shut down currently and used for railroad equipment storage.
A woodworking company
And an action movie scene. The patrol boat has gone off the ramp over the train, and has shot down the helicopter.
A picture of the causeway with no train.
The trackmobile's brake line is being used as an air supply for the jackhammer, which is being used to disassemble the runway. Some pieces already taken up are on the runway.
I wish I could get the inspiration to finish this. I just have trouble sticking with things long enough to turn them into a route of realistic length. I based this off of the East Broad Top Connecting Railroad, which is (was?) a 4.5 mile railroad intended to operate the SG parts of the EBT's dual gauge track. That is what they said, but it is likely that they made it just to have a DG crossing kept in place while a road was being worked on.
Also, I have another action movie scene. This one is on the South Pocono Railway, (fictional, from Palmerton to Lehighton (also my model railroad in real life)), and the chased car is going onto the loading dock, where a piece of plywood rests on an oil drum, for an "awesome" stunt jump.
