Thank you, its actually just south east of Phoenix on the SP's counterpart to the Santa Fe's line. In the early 90's most all of what are now Phoenix suburbs was a vast agricultural area.

Nice shots everyone!

Atlantic and Central train C-604, with CSX power, passes under the automatics at milepost 233.1 in the fading light of an overcast day with 100 loads of West Virginia black diamonds. The train will stop at Marshall, WV for a crew change before continuing on to the A&C's coal docks in Hampton Roads.

I love that last shot trainman7616, they all are quite nice, and I would put the first one as my second favourite.

Southern Pacific's CHCI-T passing through the sleepy hamlet of Picacho, Arizona. In 2012, most of the town was removed per eminent domain, to make room for the expansion of Interstate 10.
