how in the holy name of mickey mouse i post a nice big picture?like u guys do?:)sorry for posting to much but just wanted to know if it comes close to a actual US yard layout.Tryed my best to copy it with google earth
 
At least your yard ladder is straight! How on earth do you make it look straight and the switches that come off it not too sharp. Could anybody point me to a detailed tutorial?

I'm no expert at laying track or yards and I was going to suggest this site:

But I don't see a specific section on laying yard ladders. The best way I'd describe it is to make the outside ladder first, then experiment with one yard track and join it where the curve looks realistic. I could have sworn someone made a tutorial about how to do that, but I can't remember where or who. @@
