How do you get shots like the second photo?

Pretty simple really. I believe TS12 users have a freeintcam they can use to make shots like this, however that isn't a thing for TS Mac 2 afiak, and I don't know anything about it. I place some invis-track down and throw a PRR M1b on it (locomotive is up to user). In Driver, I go into cab and use [ & ] keys to switch to a different camera on the exterior and zoom with the mouse. This is the only working technique I have currently.. either way, makes a nice effect!
I have M1bs all over the place on my routes... including a few up high.. top right.

Cheers,
SM

Ekankal, please tell me where you got those epic locos, Specifically the GE "Tonner" and the Baldwin.
It's my own repaints on stuff from Jointed Rail (including the Baldwin engine), RRMods & davesnow.
The "tonner" (it's a Whitcomb 50 tonner) is made by a Swedish friend of mine (aka bear_ludd), but it's not released yet.

And once again, AWESOME pics EVERYBODY.

Ekankal, what tracks are you using in these pictures?

Thanks.
John

That track is great ... I have it somewhere ... it makes your eyes go Ga, Ga, as the shadow repeated backwards, then forwards, on the ties .. I reskined them so that the shadow always faces one direction, and it looks 200% better, I believe it is "Roz" something, or another ...

There are actually a couple of different "invisible locos" on the DLS. I use one of them to do my zoom-in shots. They come in handy for doing shots on the normal track as well; or, if you make videos, they're great for doing stationary pan shots.

Invis locos are probably better than M1bs scattered everywhere :hehe: I wonder why I never thought to try some of those...

Either way, some M1b-made-pics...
