Can't have Caltrain without a little bit of ACE. ACE is set to receive its' new shipment of bombardier equipment in what can only be called its new Phase II paint. This marks the beginning of the transition from the name Altamont Commuter Express to Altamont Corridor Express. ACE is currently building a private facility in Stockton Ca and planning on moving operations and maintenance away from the leased northern UP repair shop and into its own yard and buildings. This comes amidst purchasing new equipment for future expansion of the service:
