A day in Englewood, 1948.

First off, the Valpo local arrives.

Next up, the Advance Commodore Vanderbilt and the Admiral both arrive, then depart. The New York Cantral and the PRR had several trains that ran on identical schedules: the Advance Commodore and the Admiral, the CV and the General, the 20th Century and the Broadway, and the Pacemaker and the Trailblazer being a few of them.

Between the NYC and PRR trains, the Nickel Plate Limited arrives.

After the CV and the General depart, a Rock Island freight passes by the station.

Next up, the PRR's Golden Arrow makes a stop. This train is the remnants of an all-Pullman train inaugurated by the PRR in 1929 that was generally considered to be second best only to the Broadway until the General was introduced. By 1932, it lost it's westbound section. By the time it was discontinued in 1948, it was reduced to a coach and Pullman Chicago - New York local carrying various through cars.

Finally, the 20th Century Limited and Broadway Limited arrive, then shortly after, depart.

@Flusi737: thank you, my friend :)
@NIARTcar: thank you too, here is the close view on them

Thank you for taking the time to get some more shots! The transition cars look great with those fins. Am I right to guess that the fins are a separate mesh from the body of the car?

Though, I have to say they are a little clean for Amtrak. :p You need to get some dirt to rub on them if you can. ;)

Keep up the great work!

Cheers,

@NIARTcar: yes, fins was made in sketchup and attached to mesh via Attachment Maker. I still don`t know how to make good weaathering so i`ll put it on background. Thanks for kind words :)

TSBY GP35's #390 and 388 wait for their next assignment in Willow Springs.

Only took me maybe 2-3 hours to build this scene, and this route for that matter. But I love it.

May I ask where the DD40s came from please? They don't look like CG's ones but are much higher quality than the built-in ones.

The DDA40X is one I've been making for a few years now. It's not done yet but it's close. I just need to fix a couple things on the body and finish the interior view.
