A Couple of C40-8s lead a C41-8 and a unit coal train past Inland Steel in Central City......

.....nicely modified U18B!

That would be down to Dave, you and Eric rather than me :)

...more lovely skins stolen and patched (for personal use!)...

The slight pixelization in that bare tree is down to slight over sharpening, it looks absolutely splendid in-game. The new crop of 'billboard' trees from several creators are a force to be reckoned with....

Wow! Great shots NS37. One thing though: "Southern Serves the South," but they're not "The Dixie Line." Have faith in The Old Reliable! :D
On the topic of screenshots, here we find your average damp Kentucky morning, with a 23 car coal creeping its way through the hills, behind The Old Reliable herself.

Erik, your stuff is always so dirty!
Well, I guess I have to clean my paint brushes soon, otherwise it will probably be just a lot of sh*t on my pics in the end. LOL :hehe:.

Andy: Thanks for your kind words, and nice pics from you too (and from everybody else also:)).

Justin C. : AWESOME, just AWESOME.

Surely not. Cardboard/billboard trees do have a place. I don't think anyone including that developer has said otherwise.

Sorry, that's not really on the cards.
Legacy content that doesn't work well in TS12 is unlikely to work better in TANE. The E2 renderer is intended to take realistic models and make them look realistic; it is not intended to work with "cross trees" and similar techniques. What's more likely to happen with these assets is that they become rather obviously flat in addition to any existing problems with transparency.

3D trees have been the policy since 2009; TANE changes nothing in that regard.

:o

Nice trains as always, I'm awed by how you keep doing that.
