montanawestren, great photo! I was wondering, were you got those signals in the first picture. I've noticed it's the (2) light gantry signal is from Jointed Rail but I have no idea were the one light gantry signal is from. Thanks

-Max amount of train that is allowed on Mojave is 12 locos, 7,000 feet of train and 18,000 trailing tons, if you want to be realistic about it. :p

Joe, This is incorrect, My dad who has been to Tehachapi saw a SP lumber drag with 15 units so that part is incorrect I am not sure about the other two.

I would think a lumber drag wouldn't be as long as the average train on the Mojave Sub. Maybe they dead-headed some of the locomotives for transportation to a different location, and just counted them as part of the train.

-Correction, 12 locomotives all running at the same time. This also depends on time frame. I'm sure rules have changed throughout the years.
