-I'm almost done with Colton yard if that counts lol!Glad to see someone is working on that behemoth of a yard, I've been by there a couple times and boy... it's frigging huge. Its much bigger than the rail yards here in AZ as far as total space (I think we've got Barstow beat in overall yard length (BNSF "Peavine" Intermodal and freight yard (really anything from Peoria AZ in is one big yard) is a bit longer than Barstow end to end IIRC but much, much thinner (notably at grade crossings where it's one track then fans back out into like 5 right after the crossing))
THANKS Andy, I love your shots toYou have never posted "...nothing special..." in your entire life!
Love it - every aspect of it - not just the rolling stock (which is outstanding!) but all the little route building gems as well! Great stuff![]()
No, there is no backdrops, however there are only two / three rows of trees (since it's on the edge of the baseboard, there was not room for more, hehe) that makes it perhaps look like backdrops.Erik, are those pictures made with a backdrop or something? The background somehow doesn't quite seem to mate up with the foreground, in some way I can't quite put my finger on ... They're very pretty, regardless, though.
