Huh, I didn't realize the RS1 rebuilds were that old. Speaking of Alco parts did ATSF use Type B trade in trucks on any of their GP35s?

The EMD GP35 is a 4-axle diesel-electric locomotive built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division between July 1963 and December 1965 and by General Motors Diesel between May 1964 and January 1966. The locomotive's power was provided by an EMD 567D3A 16-cylinder engine which generated 2,500 horsepower (1,860 kW).
Many railroads traded in Alco and EMD F units for GP35s, reusing the trucks and traction motors. Some railroads had EMD reuse the Alco trucks on the GP35s. Notable examples include the Gulf, Mobile and Ohio Railroad, Southern Railway, and the Ann Arbor Railroad.

Compliments. Very real desert setting.

I love it when I see a screenshot from one of my routes and can't work out where the location is - I'm gonna have to go check that one! Nice shot and love the skins also....

EDIT: Got it after a second look! Out along the Montgomery Branch :)

I remember the time when I thought that kind of lashup was rare. How wrong I was...

An ex-T&NO 4-4-0 creeps into a siding to drop off a few cars while the Super Chief makes a stop at a nearby station. This is on a small test route located somewhere in the Southwest. I need to make a bigger test route some day. A thought of mine is to recreate the Full Bucket Line (A desert route by Bjorn Arlt and one of my favorite MSTS routes) for Trainz, although I'll need to find some way to get a map into Trainz.
