Here's one of the many freights the Midwest Industrial runs - today's train consists of a GP38-2, GP38-2 High Hood, and the MP2800/C.

They're getting ready to move, first they'll be doing a set out of the tankers before delivering the hoppers to a grain elevator.

Here they are, just before unhooking the tankers to back in to a spur line serving this one customer that specializes in fertilizer.

They've unhooked the cars, proceeded forward and are now preparing to shove the cars.

They're now shoving the cars at a slow speed, they have to clear a crossing first while doing this.

Now dropping off the load, and soon to proceed back out with the single hopper in tow.

Here they are, coming out with the engines and a single hopper. Soon enough they'll stop and then get permission to hook up to their train, that they let sit over 2 crossings.

They managed to back up and are now hooked up to their train, they'll proceed up to the grain elevator soon enough.

And they're off! They are building up some decent speed, and will arrive to the grain elevator later.

An ERIE RR hotshot blasts under the PRR Chautauqua Branch at Lovells Pa doing track speed of 70 mph on its way east.

Doing 40mph throgh the town of Corry Pa. the ERIE RR hotshot drops the home signal at "MS" crossing on the approaching PRR local working the PRR's Erie branch.

(I suspect the officer may have noticed me standing on his car to get this shot):p

Looking west at "MS" (Maple Street) where the ERIE RR and the PRR's Erie Branch cross. This is the real life location of gfisher's model of MS. :)

Here's a CN (ex-IC) SD40-2 sitting with the Midwest Industrial MP2800/C - light power move.
Now for a fun fact: The MP2800/C could theoretically exist in real life; CN had something that was similar called a SW1200RSm (which was a GP7 with a switcher cab)
