When B&P units come through Altoona/Johnstown the railfans go nuts chasing them ... that is one heck of a junction ... where is that on the prototype "?
Yeah that GWI orange & yellow really stands out against all that NS black down there. The "Junction" is on my fictional route. I wanted something kinda complex to play around with ASB when it first came out. It all contrlled through ASB with three main likes and multiple connecting tracks.

Sense I haven't seen any recent pictures in multiplayer. I decided to post some pictures of a good route from USA Multiplayer V3

Hey guys, my first reskin featured in a couple shots.
PS: I already realize, it's too clean, too complicated/ expensive to paint, and would never happen on a railroad, but here goes...

Actually, it might not be too complicated for a real railroad........ Very nice scheme!

If you would like, there is an article on how EMD designed their paint schemes....

Click on "Designing Realistic Paint Schemes" on the lower left....

Thanks! I guess it just looks odd having such a modern scheme on such an old locomotive, but I think it works for now. I was thinking about adding a darker blue "lightning bolt" to the front (symmetrical on both sides, of course) to add a bit of detail.

I'd like to reskin JR's B40-8W with the same or a similar scheme, but I can't get over how to keep the details intact without re-drawing the entire thing!

Edit: Phase II of the Midwest Rail Holdings "Lightning" paint.

Sorry for flooding the thread with similar images, but you'll probably see occasional updates on my fictional road as time goes on.

Personally, I think those F's looks really sharp! Any thoughts of painting the inside of the bells on the horn? Maybe white or red? Would really make them stand out. Or possibly some silver or light grey trucks? Just some ideas to throw around.

Thanks for the ideas! I'll see about painting the inside of the horn (probably white, but I may go for the darker blue of the lightning)...
As for the silver/grey trucks, it would be a simple config change as I recoloured the current trucks for a fictional BNSF F7 in H3 paint (Didn't show so well, so I replaced it with this skin), So it's entirely possible I can create a second version with that revision in mind.

Thanks once again for the compliments and critiscisms!

Not a problem. I'm really liking the look of these. I'll keep my eye on this one for sure

I thought saw in your post on the Jointed Rail forums that it would take a year because of something with the Dash 9's cab. (http://jointedrail.com/index.php/support/7/2307-ge-dash-9-series)
I think in that quote "the dash 8 and 9 series will be in development for a little while longer (cabs), and releases will probably happen with both types for the next year or so." He means that there are going to be later releases of them, but as the different variations that did come out.
