Back to NY&A.. :hehe:

Today was a lucky day, I over to my friend's house who lives just in front of the LIRR main, so when a freight passes by the whole house and whoever's inside go all over the place. I heard the unmistakable GP38-2 K5LA horn and the roar of the engine, and I ran to the backyard and grabbed this pic. When I got outside I was stunned to see NY&A 271 out switching right there as well, and got this picture.

Check it out....Its got "neons" on them 2 cars...lol...;)

Today I went down to the shore to do some railfanning. I found a bridge and set up my camera gear not to far from it. After a few minutes of waiting an Amtrak Regional flew by.

Not to long after that an Acela Express went over the bridge at full speed.

Then for maybe an hour and a half there were no trains. I couldn't figure out why until I saw a slow moving Providence & Worcester freight round the bend.

Right after that another regional with two aems rounded the bend.

Then right after that another regional rounded the bend. This one had two amfleets still in phase III colors.

Right before the regional went out of sight a Shore Line East train with all Metro North rolling stock came across the bridge.

That's an amazing comparison!!

Hey

Thanks BStyles. Considering I'm an hours drive from Amfanning, I've only been to Union station four times. When I came home from vacation, for a High speed and commuter rail demonstration, when I took the Tampa LRT, and transfered to another bus.

Now that is nice! Does the cab view on your Acela work?

Bstyles,

Yes, the cab works... If you give me your email I can send the config. The reason why you don't have it is due to the fact that the author didn't complete the config file properly.
