After leaving Banff, it continues along the Bow River passing the majestic Rocky Mountains which rise up on both sides of the tracks. After passing through the resort town of Lake Louise, it starts the grueling climb up the grade to the Continental Divide and the top of Kicking Horse Pass. What comes next is a nerve-wracking ride down one of the steepest and most dangerous stretches of mainline railway track in the World. From the top of the Pass, the downward grade increases to as much as 2.4% as you move 14,000 ton unit trains through the famous Spiral Tunnels, past the imposing Cathedral Crags, and finally ending your run in the small town of Field, nestled in the spectacular Kicking Horse Canyon

Great shots everyone!
