USA Pics

I just finished up my first run on the St Johnsbury & Lamoille County route and I have to say it was a great route indeed. I took a total of 31 screenshots, But I chopped it down to my 10 best and here they are......

Blimey, you're a bit early for winter screenshots, I'm baking in 100 degrees heat eating an ice cream at the moment.......:hehe:

Nice pics anyway.

It's about 100 here in the midwest. Those shots are very refreshing...one of my favorite routes. :)

A pair of CSX GP-15's heads north along the River Line with a load of dolomitic limestone from Tompkins Cove Quarry...

Im looking foward to running your River line. Like I said, It was a very good route. Sad that I couldnt run the whole thing as my game crash. At first, I had some FPS issues here and there and then all of a sudden. The game just crashed, But I believe I did about 25 miles or so of the route. It was most likely the snow that caused the FPS rate and having Norton kick in by running a scan on its own most likely didnt help either and I had all the game details all the way to high even the draw distance at 5000.

Glad to hear I'm inspiring others to remake Vic's awesome layout. :) I randomly found the video on youtube and just had to recreate it in trainz

Yes...that's a great layout. I had not seen that video before, but there have been articles about it in Model Railroader magazine. The detail is remarkable. He does some great stuff with the streets. There are cracks from the weight of the trains in the streets with embedded rails. Beautiful stuff. Gee...come to think of it...that would be a very cool asset for Trainz. :)

Cheers,

Kon1786: Thank you for that comment..I am really enjoying this route, it is strictly fictious..I am using the copy/paste method, but I have discovered to watch my frame rate when I do..But I finally got it signaled and that helped..

I had to do it; it's a great add-on!

Shot is in another route on which I'm currently working; it's based very loosely on Ocean County, NJ and the Pine Barrens.
