USA Pics

I thought it was a girl...wow i'm silly...
Yeah well some girls bark too. It also depends what your title is for them if its your ex-girlfriends its usally, well I'm too discreet.
"You know when the old lady barks...it time to work." -D. McCory 2007
There you go, see girls do bark.

Showing 40 posts per page...

...the USA Pics thread is only 113 pages long, and why anyone would congratulate a thread is beyond me anyway...:o

I could see posting "Congrats to all those that helped make this thread 113 pages long!", but really, what kind of milestone is 113? Sure, you can say it's 300 pages, but there's about 5 different options to display the number of posts on a page, so who's to say what the average posts per page is among those that frequent the forums?

Even if it was 300, that's not a milestone, is it? Now 500, or 1000...maybe, but 300? What's that?:hehe:

I read 301 now; but i see your point on why 300?

It would make more since if it was in reference to the total number of posts which was 4507 before this post yet my post says 4509. I show 451 pages.

Well if that don't work, then it is the 3rd most posted in thread.

Some tower shots from one of my scenarios.

Them are some pretty cool pix

Here is one I snapped while I was on old HWY 51 passing the Weston Power Plant...2 BNSF's waiting for their cars to be unloaded...This train will either go out later tonight or early tomorrow morning

Tough times have hit the CN Ralston Subdivision. Since the Canadian National refuses to fund anything that has to do with this area, the Ralston Sub has to scrap some old rolling stock and locomotives. I heard about this on the radio, so I thought I would go check it out. Upon my arrival, I was checked to make sure I didn't have any weapons...oddly. I still don't know what they think I was going to do, hijack the old Streamliner and shoot anyone who tried to stop me? Anyways, the BNSF, who services 90% of the Crusader Bay yard (The other 10% being serviced by either the UP or CN Ralston Funding Association) had recently finished re-creating the entire tracklay, made a new "Scrap Track" to put old Rolling Stock and Locomotives, or other parts that were due to go to the Scrap Yard in Havenshire, 10 Miles North of Ralston City. I caught this picture of UP 1995 hauling coal up to the power plant, which is also in Havenshire, passing an old CN F7A with some old coaches behind. Hopefully, the CN will get some common sense and bring the CN Ralston Sub back under their control.

...

Those are some awesome shots! Is that tower on the DLS by chance or is it something you made? Either way, it looks awesome and it looks like a great place to just chill out and watch the trains go by...

I like that second shot Iced. When I went to Missoula, Montana in 2006, I stood on the old station platform as a BNSF Boeing Aerotrain rumbled through. It was amazing.

Wahington D.C. Union Station

Here are some shots from my NEC work in progress:

These are all from Union Station.
Here we have a Northeast Regional idling on one of the Acela Express tracks. They just moved him over here for some reason. (lol)

Here we have P42DC #177. This is the lead unit on a triple header Capitol Limited which is slated for departure in about 2 hours.

As soem fo you may know Union Station has some storage tracks on the west side of the station for MARC. Here we have a Kawasaki Bi-Level parked until the late evening rush hour. The cab car hasn't been switched down yet due to mechanical problems. Otherwise this set would have been on the 1 p.m. to Frederick, MD.

As we look out onto the storage tracks from the wes platforms we can see an origional PRR dwarf signal displaying a restricted indication.

Thats all for now. For more information on the route please look on my thread. Questions are always welcome. And great shots everyone!
