Yep, that danged latest beta build is so chock full of errors that the trains are running right off the tracks and into the river!

You can with Invisible track, I know that you can tilt the track using the track tool, I still don't know how how he got it to go upside down as I don't think the track tool allows that.

Amazing job with that scene Eric, very creative.

Regarding the two cylindrical hoppers (one on the side and one that is upside down), I wrote a script that allows traincars to be able to tilt, roll, and even fly freely with them in the air, without using any tracks at all .

Hehe, I'm just kidding, it's much easier than that, I've converted them to scenery objekts, everything else is made with normal traincars, on different invisible tracks, in different layers.
