how do you make those amazing pictures did anyone mess with the lighting in photoshop to make a realistic effect because i just cant get the effects you all have

i looked the thread you linked is useless to me because i have TS12 i dont have TANE but im happy with my pictures and i like making the trains talking characters like i did with the SDP40F's

You may be able to adjust the time of day clock, gamma, and ambient sky, sun, water colors in TS12 or lower

You can adjust all that stuff in any version of Trainz. Not the way Trainz handles the environment has changed over the versions so where to set the knobs and sliders you may have to figure out on your own. But the settings are there.

Mid 1990's at the DTIMX Shortline.
DTMIX Train 783 the Conrail Transfer Heads to the small yard just east of town.

The Transfer usally includes 1-2 empty Woodchips cars and 3-5 Tankers and a Boxcar, But the Holiday has them backed up 2 days and he comes into the yard pushing 15 cars

The transfer leaves with 7 cars

The DTMIX Local 109 starts its yard duty with 2 leased Ex DGRW GP60's from a near by Shortline, These units would eventually be scrapped after a Fail Bridge inspection sent them into a river on another shortline.


The local work the facility with a few boxcars

In late 1996 the DTMIX would take a financial turn and would go into bankruptcy, which ended all services to the facility. But in late 1998 RJ Corman would buy the line to haul coal to near by Plant, Later in 1999 the Paper Facility would recive rail traffic again under RJ Corman and interchange with CSX, The line is still in operation to this day under RJ Corman.
 
We visit the DMTIX in the Fall of 2007. Here we see CSX local J763 led by 2 Dash 8 modals

The RJ Corman SD40's you seen earlier went back to Pa for repairs in mid 2007, RJ picked up 2 Ex NS GP38's from FURX Leasing Company in September 2007.

In April 2004 a local Sand Quarry asked RJ and CSX to pick up sand from there facility 20 miles away, RJ declined operations to the facility and CSX took the job, Here is CSX K208 Loaded Sand train going intot he yard.

The RJ Local train #773 picks up the days cars for work, We were not able to capture them working the Paper Facility due to strict safety policies after 9/11.

Southbound NS 251 holds the dynamics as it descends into Glen Mary from Elgin, soon the engineer will knock off the dynamics and get back into full throttle for the 1.7% climb into Huffman.
An approach indication is lit signalling this section of railroad is busy today. 251 has a 197 following at Robbins and 295 behind him coming through Pemberton. 197 still has the single track blocked and there is a northbound 144 at Robbins waiting to go. Northbound 50A is at Sunbright right now and has this approach here at Glen Mary.
