Great Shot there Bill even the semi in the background is well detailed.Can i ask about the texture in the background is that the colour you use all over then bit by bit re texture it all as you go.

Hey Mick. Thanks. No I textured the ground from the highway to the hill top with that dried grass texture then added a touch of a darker texture under the trees to simulate the shaded area. But the area from the highway to the bottom of the pic I randomly placed the ground texture for most of it keeping to 4 or 5 textures and placing them in different shapes on the ground. If I can get away with it I try to keep from making a whole baseboard all one texture even though I would be adding other textures over it. The area I'm modeling actually looks this way. It's like the highway is the dividing line between dead and brown and green and alive.:hehe:

I was engineer on Amtrak's Empire Builder today. Just outside of Cutbank, we met up with UP 9106 on ZCHISEA2-10b. The Engines are SPORBUST's and the cars are default. The game is TRS2009.

Unoin Stockyards & Transit Co switching at Loomis Yard

These pics are part of a Chicago Series Route
Union Stockyards and Transit Co. (USYT 1) release name...
Based on a 1897 route map and configured for a modern era cars and
some reskins (imagineered) of rails that operated back then of a historical era of Chicago railroading...
following link is a actual route map of such....and rails that existed in 1897....

A few notes is USYT EXISTED AS A RAILROAD with no equipment....
The Chicago Junction later Chicago River and Indiana did the switching....
part of the NYC later absorbed into Conrail..........
