There's actually a photo of both a light (probably yellow) and a dark (probably red) boxcar in the Carson yards, ca 1907-1910 - though the available records indicate the majority of freight cars were painted red in the 1880s.the V&T stock would not be painted both colors at once
I think a friend of his made it. He's posted images of it before. I do like the trailer and the wrecked chevy.
