Well? You comin'?

BTW, does anyone know of some heavyweight cars that have a decent night mode?

And Mr. Fisher comes in and steals the show. Unbelievable. Two masters of route building putting shots in the same page! just amazing.
Keep up the awesome work.

Just a sad thought rushing through my mind about my grandad. He drove one of the first diesel streamliners for the B&O Railway... I can't run a B&O route or train, thinking about him. I miss him, but I still have to move on. He died 2 years ago, I've gotten over it pretty much... But I still remember his stories :)

Cheers, Jadebullet, he's been amazed at the progress the railways have made over the years. Since his first drive of a diesel streamliner, to the world-speed record of the TGV. He wished that the US broke the record though :hehe:...

'Nuff said about that. Here's some more streamliner stuff. This time "posters" for the B&O Rly.

Looking good. I love the yard, especially those dwarf lights. I think that I have them downloaded, I will have to start using them.

I have always been a huge fan of the years 1920-1970 when it comes to railroading. I love each phase of the evolution of US rail during this time, from the K5Bs, heavy Mikados, and Y6s, into the streamliner phase, with Alco F and P units running alongside EMD F7s, right into the first modern looking locomotives, such as the GP series.

Great pics, you definatly capture the essence of the time period.

PS, does anyone know how to properly spell Definatly? (definite+ly)

which is imo one of the worst trainz layouts ever. shoddy doesnt even describe it well enough. not that your pics are bad. they are cool.

aaaaanyway....

Nice one, Dave. Sorry its not in exact tip-top condition, its flaws still need to be worked out(when I have the time to do so).

Here's some more screenies of the Stamford Area:

Hey Isaac,

Apologies for quoting a not-so-new post. Where did you get that detailed concrete track? I'll be getting TS2009 soon and would like to know this for my CSX and FEC projects.

Thanks a lot!

@NorfolkSouthern_37: I take no offense, it does need a bit of upgrading(the trackage for a start). Love the BN SD60M. I'll have to download it sometime(if its not payware).

@Brickbuilder711: Its a track set from the vias3d.net website. Registration is required, and it is in spanish. "Descargas" is what downloads mean, the rest, I just picked up as I surfed around.

Thanks! I got it and registered. :D

I am using Firefox so all that I have to do is right click for spell check. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to have any correct suggestions for that word.

Just defiantly and definably

I can't spell either you could substitute certainly for definitely unless of course you meant defiant-ly.:hehe:

de-fi-ant-ly–adjective characterized by defiance; boldly resistant or challenging: a defiant attitude.

I know. I thanks for the suggestion.

Anyway, to get back on topic, here are some pics from my current WIP. It is a route set in the Eastern US during 1943. (Yes I know that it is a CN loco, but I am currently waiting for my K5B to be emailed to me from VMD :D) The route is going to be centered around transporting passengers, troops to the docks, and various war equipment to the docks. I plan on having a full vehicle assembly plant, and an ammo plant. Anyway, here are some scenes from the town that I am building. So far the route is only 1 baseboard(still a WIP lol. I am really takng my time on this one) with 2 extra baseboards dedicated entirely to every single building, vehicle, tree, and any other asset that fits the bill.

Anyway enjoy. And your suggestions and comments are always welcome. By the way, how do you get rid of that bar at the top of the screen?
