USA Pics

Not sure. Someone help me out here. To me, your images of the F40PH would only be a gmax,3dsmax thread entry. USA pics is mainly for ingame shots. Again. This is just what I think.

Technically, renders can work either way, so that much is perfectly fair, although it would be more correct in the GMax/3DSMax thread. Given the creator's commentary, I'm guessing this is a VIA variant or some such? I dunno.

Cool route. I like how in the yard, the asphalt covers up part of the wooden rail ties. Is locomotive #699 and the Pullman coach in the distance a work in progress creation?

Thank you. The railroad is a joint project between a few close friends. 699 and the coach are just made for our own enjoyment on this railroad. I do not believe the authors are choosing the make them available to the public.

@ CR45 - love the trashy foreground in the first shot. It's hard to get something like that to look right and you nailed it. Sweet :)

Hello Kimo505,

that’s what I call nice looking track. The wow-effect to me is that the track goes together with the ground texture next to it very nicely. From that this could be a photo as it looks very realistic!
That’s looking really great :-)

It seems that the track has been assembled by using several different looking track assets each representing another ground texture but still matching to each other – is that right? That would make the conclusion, suggesting that both track and ground texture have been developed by the same content creator – right? Is it allowed to ask who created these nice looking assets?

Your’s TUME

Hello Simulatortrain,

what is that Erie Railroad locomotive? It looks to me like an Alco or G.E. or maybe even Baldwin? I don't know.
