With a severe storm bearing down on eastern Iowa and NS's Pioneer Yard, NS intermodal train 21G out of Harrisburg, PA streaks in on Main 1 in an attempt to tie down before the worst of the storm hits while NS 37J from 62nd Street Yard in Chicago to Davenport, IA (UP) sits after dying on the hours of service law in the same attempt to make it to their assigned yard track before the storm hit. All outbound trains are tied down while their crews wait in the offices, awaiting to leave the yard. In the distance, NS local B53 pulls out of the cold storage facility with several boxcars, ordered to "shelter in place" while maintenance crews try to finish track repairs in time in order to the the crew to a safe location.


Quite the story, huh?
