Your reskins are coming along well, I suggest you play with the logo a little more, it looks like it is floating above the value shade layer. That being said, I am probably going to fix those logos on my reskin of the gallery cars to get it right; I think I need to add a flat metal plane behind it. Otherwise, I'm glad you have been able to make your own F40s to match the Caltrain cars I made.

Yeah. They are by the same guy that made the Track II assets. I don't remember his name off of the top of my head, but if you look him up, you should find them.
Well, thanks for giving me the help and incentive to try. I am puzzled about you saying the logo looks like it is floating. I looked at pictures online, it shows the edge of the red sphere does not touch the access door or whatever that is. Also, the "C" looks on a prototype to be "cut in half" by the other access door looking rivets things.
On the longer units, the red sphere is lined up with the access door rivet things on the right...
But, this is a good running first for me. I need to redo the roof fans, the trucks (bogey?) and coupler. Also noticed some other things that are details that need extra attention.

what's a normal map?
I think he means that the red logo and text on your repaint appears to obstruct the detail behind it, almost like it is floating above the body. these things should usually be blended into the lower detail.
I'll ask him how to do that.

I cloned and modified some of the tracks that I wanted to keep, the rest I uninstalled, so unfortunately I have no kuid numbers on the original tracks that can be searched for either, sorry.

.Thanks, the track was included in a package called "RTS Track" that I found on a site named RTS/RomanianTrainzStudio a few years ago, but it was only available for a short time before it disappeared from the site, and now it seems even the RTS site have closed.
