A three pack of Chicago Great Western SD40-2s lead M-CTRW (Chicago Transfer to Red Wing, Minnesota) down the Cannon River Valley towards the Mississippi River and the city of Red Wing. A majority of the train will be interchanged with the Canadian Pacific while a few hoppers will get loaded at the ADM plant.

Wow, great looking engines there Steve! Today I got the guts to buy the Nickel Plate DLC,:udrool:, so here was my test run...
(photo two, notice the animated bell is opposite the camera, what timing, :hehe:)
***Also a question to anyone who can answer... why does the Pere Marquette Berkshire's bell have no sound when turned on? Thanks!

Nice shots, everyone! I want to take some shots like this, but my TS12 installation has corrupted, and so I'm currently using TS10.

did you try to reinstall the game? If you do, make sure to save a copy of your local folder so you do not lose your content.
I wouldn't go that far for it, but that is a good idea... (I mainly bought the pack for the NKP things anyhow), personally, if it was that much trouble, I could put up with a bell-less locomotive :hehe:; but thanks anyway!

CGW 1408 was originally going to be part of the company's "If the engine doesn't work, part it out" ideology during late 2006 until a spike in traffic prevented the system from taking off. Unfortunately for 1408, a few side panels had been taken off and used for other units that required new ones, leaving CGW to acquire spares from National Railway Equipment in Silvis, Illinois. The unit has gone in and out of storage over the last eight years and obviously hasn't received a new paint job or wash in that time.
