You are a marvelous skinner, I love all your pics, especially your locos. I'm a fan of leaseers, shortlines and fictionals and your pics make me covet greatly.

Alex, I did that reskin. He's referring to me.

Jordan412, I'm glad you like it.

Justin, man those are nice. Love the lighting. Makes me want to improve the SP&S unit.

Edit- Whops, didn't know I got lost so much. Hehe.

Haha so will I be able to get my hands on them someday? please :)
They would be great for industrial switchers, keep up the great work!
They may be released at some point in the future, in a different paint job. It'll be a while though, can't say how long.

A short local coal train has just delivered its load to the small heating plant, and returns with empty cars.

Great job Erik! I love what you did to them!! (As soon as I figure out how to do it, I want to put ARN on them)

I decided to take a few shots at the local engine maintence shops to pass some time. There was a pretty healthy mix of power and paint today.

I heard a strange noise off to the right and when I looked, my eyes just about popped out of my head! There was a GN heritage unit coming out of the paint building!

Here the GN unit is pulled completely out of the shop for a better view. Word is that the crews around the shop are getting rather anxious for its completion day. I am too!

Now, before anybody comes in here and says, "Hey! You stole so-and-so's idea!," no I did not. I was asked to do this particular project quite a while ago. At the time, I was unaware of anybody else doing some BNSF heritage units. Yes, I know the unit looks incomplete. Well, that's because it is. Some of you clever folks may also notice the number and its significance on this particular unit.

Nice unit, it almost looks like mine!

That's a complement.

I would suggest moving the stripe down the sides a bit. Makes it flow better.

Chadd04: The building is called "Building RR Workshops."

SD45T-2: Thanks for the compliment! I myself am a big fan of your personal railroad. If you don't mind, I would appreciate seeing the rest of your BNSF heritage fleet. If you don't want to share pictures, that is completely uderstandable. I wouldn't be able to stand the PM's from gimme pigs either! :hehe:

EDIT: And of course, there's the NP one. It's probably only a matter of time until we wee more. Nice shots deadpool.

I posted some shots of them. Their is a few more, GN, as you know, ATSF, Frisco, and SP&S, which is in the paint-shop because it needs a better look. I'm going for the frist paint applied to the FA's for that one.
