Amazing shots there Adam!! :D
Those GP38-2s look familiar, let me know if you want a patch for a railroad on them. :)

And yes Braintrainz (Brian I believe), I am using 04 so that the route will work in all versions up. Hardly any built in stuff is used, so if it is lost it should not be a problem in the least.

As insane as the NY&A was with painting 151 in that color, she now wears the new colors and finally looks identical to 2 other of the MP15ACs on property. May that radioactive thing decompose in peace. ;)

Hey George,

Looks good. I don't know many people that can say they've been to Morgan, Wy.

What are the boundaries of your route, and especially how far south does your route go? My route portals out just north of Warren Airforce Base outside of Cheyenne.

Hi Jim,

Not much at all in Morton, Wyoming. Three houses and an old abandoned telegrapher's station, near as I can tell. The route extends from Casper east to Orin Junction. From there the old CNW cowboy line runs east to Shawnee Junction and then about fourteen miles east, as well as about fourteen miles up into the powder river basin. From Orin, the BN line runs south east to Glendo and then to Wendover Junction.....if I ever finish it all.

The track is "ds1 4m sg track" by ds1, 74433:110007

NJT GP40FH-2 4131 pulls into Bayhead,NJ and get ready for the run to Long Branch so the people can transfer to a multi-level train to bring them the rest of the way to New York City.

Hi George,

I was wondering too, if you were going up towards Gillette. A few years back, it was booming for a while and then turned into a ghost town. That was a Twilight Zone experience. The coal trains were one of the few things that ran consistently.

When I was living in Merrimac, MA, in 2005 I started my Colorado/Wyoming project. It's not easy working on a route that's 1500 miles away and it did make me homesick for Colorado. I miss New England too, but where I am now, I can stick my head out the window and hear the trains traveling the same route that I'm working on. I get inspired to keep going everytime I hear the BNSF horn. Maybe once I'm done with the route, I'll get back to lobsta country.

Anyway, you are doing Morgan and Douglas Wyoming a great tribute. Keep up the good work.

Today we decided to railfan Moravia Yard on a beautiful autumn day. We got there by noon and found a NYA shunter sitting on a local siding.

We sat there for a little bit then heard a horn just as we were about to leave. It was NYC #3488 pulling some heavyweight coaches to the station.

We follow him down the yard taking snapshots as we ran. We found ourself out of film after.

We then watched him sit at the station and then continue heading east.

Enjoy!

Cheers,
Adam

Thanks Todd. :)

In the early morning, NY&A 159 & 155 grind up the track to the interchange while a P&W train pulls in to drop off their cut of cars.
