USA Pics

That was from me asking if I could mod one of his locos directly.

So you may want to delete that loco.

Provided the loco is for your own use only no permission is required. deadpool is quite in the clear. I have seen it argued though that posting screenshots is a form of 'distribution', but that's a tenuous argument at best. Irrespective of the screenshot's validity though changing a loco that you legitimately own (including freeware!) for your own use only is and always was perfectly legitimate....

You do not own content that you have downloaded, you own a license to use that content, as outlined by the author...

I'm in love with this dash 9.

Nice job on that conversion there, but here's the problem. From the man himself.

Chris (N8phu) may chime in on this.

Cool Conversion!

I applaud the "No Release, don't ask" part of Deadpool's statement. It shows he has respect for the original author and his work which is always a good thing. I would still be willing to bet good money that he will get PMs from people trying to get it anyways.

I can understand the original author's answer, a few people thought they would be slick and convert something and claim it as their own figuring it would be a shortcut to being a content creator.....and they almost always get caught. Not a real smart move. Things like that cause a lot of hurt feelings and animosity.

I'm not going to judge anyone on what they have on their hard drive, my own rule is only I know what I have.

thanks chris and dermmy
What's wrong here is people are mad that I have something they can't have. And yes my Inbox has been full today of people asking for it,
