I went railfanning in Durand with my little 4-year-old cousin, And caught CN K410 thundering by Durand.

Picture 1: CN SD50f #5422 and CN SD75I #5654 lead the train!
Picture 2: 4-year-old's Reaction: Those pipes might fall off and crush me! They scare me just by looking at them!
Picture 3: 4-year-old's Reaction: Oh no...What if these coils were to fall off...And turn me into Fried Brent? Train watching is so scary!

I always keep an eye on this thread and feel I need to comment. Whereas there have always been some great route builders out there it is very apparent that there is now many more people producing very high quality work, both fictional and prototypical. Sometimes we don't lift up our heads and see how far things are progressing and that thought struck me this morning. From someone who is never likely to build a route I just say well done to all of you. I know part of the attraction of building is the challenge but I hope you also get a kick from the thought of all the people enjoying the progress and looking forward to using them someday. Great work everyone!

Here's a special that the Midwest Industrial ran. MILW 44-tonner, 2 MIRR GP38-2's (High Hoods) and an old MBTA coach.
The 44 toner can run the coach on its own, but the MIRR doesn't trust it on the mainline at this time.

Ryanstrains crossings will be completed soon. Were waiting on the scripting....

On a side note... is it just me, or are GENESIS units numbered in the 80-85 range become popular? :D :)

Wow Justin! That route looks awesome! I have one question though. Is that abandoned roadbed available from the DLS and if so, what is the name of it?

Regards,

Ill say, the reason they are the best is because of the HORN . . it is the most spot on Horn i have ever heard for a Genesis!!!
