After the loss of the almost completed Michigan route for the C&O Bad Axe sub (I merged the route to enlarge it with a blank set of baseboards and everything was gone) I loosely started on Lapeer, MI. That grew into the Flint sub between Flint and Imlay City, MI. It also includes part of the Michigan Central Bay City Branch from Metamora to north of Lapeer, MI. Anyway, here are a few shots from the line wtih some TrainzStop SD75is lashed into the consist. Excellent work you guys there. The following captures are at Davison, MI with a track arrangement from 1970-80s.

The real deal above.

If all goes well, I'll merge it into the Port Huron Tunnel Yard which is on the DLS as the Port Huron and Detroit RR . That yard will be reused. Michigan Trainz Routes keeps plugging along, even with some big set backs.

Sorry to bug. But how exactly do you use the Cabon City stuff, I do have it, but can never find it. And where can i get that traffic signal in hte middle intersection in the one shot of the person running across the street.

The traffic light can be found here in the objects section.

To get the names of the objects, go into the route in surveyor mode and click the (?) on the objects.

After entering the name of the object in the properties window, click the check mark, then click the (?) again on the multimesh object and....

Also works on other objects in that route.

There is a funny shadow on these that makes the long hood look darker than the rest of the body.....

Maybe a little tweaking of the ARN alpha-numbers, making black on white numberboards, and doing something about that ^#&@ shadow, then some weathering/distressing.

Thanks.. I must say that I'm flattered that you'd compare my little route to an award winning model railroad. Yes, the route is built to a very compressed model railway scale. But, It's my own fictional track plan. Do you by chance remember the name or have a link to the model railway you were speaking about? I'd certainly like to take a look at it to compare. :)

The model railroad I had in mind was the "Georgia Southern" by Steve Flanigan, a very neat little 8' x 8' that won a Model Railroader magazine small layout contest. I can't find an on-line presence, but it goes way back to MR April 2001...

Ok first off awsome shots Erik they look great. Second are those engines all you own reskinns? and Third what is the track you used?
